Please ensure that if anyone contacts you on VIBER or WHATSAPP claiming to be from COL must originate from this phone number. COL will not ask for your user name or password and you should never disclose it to anyone.
March 15, 2018--In order to increase the security for your COL Global Access accounts, COL is implementing 2-factor authentication for all COL Global Access accounts. Download the security token app HandyKey on youriOS device or your Android device. You can find a step-by-step guide here. This will be mandatory by the 20th of March 2018, and accounts that have not enabled HandyKey will be restricted until it is activated.
August 15, 2016--We are pleased to announce the availability of an integrated demo for those considering opening an account to try out COL Global Access TWS. Just install the TWS and click on the demo link at the login prompt.
July 29, 2016 -- We are aware of a technical issue that is preventing the TWS from starting up. Please download the latest versionand reinstall it.
March 23, 2016 -- Starting July 1, 2016, COL Global Access requires a minimum account balance (cash and stock) of USD1,000. For those whose account balances fall below, a monthly fee of 1 USD will be charged. For a period of 6 months, COL will refund this fee to give ample time for you to increase your account equity or to close your account.
February 24, 2016 -- The TWS will be updated from JNLP launcher version to a standalone installed software suite. The JNLP version will be discontinued by March 1, 2016. To avoid interruption, kindly install before then. It can be downloaded from here.
December 15, 2015 -- Due to the ongoing implementation of the FATCA, Individual and Joint account holders must confirm their existing information and provide some additional information. Accounts may be suspended from initiating buy orders until this is performed. It will take at least one (1) business day to reactivate a suspended account, so we strongly encourage you to perform the confirmation before the computer system does the automatic suspension. March 24, 2015 -- Currently, our focus is to migrate our valued customers to COL Global Access. Even though we have received the completed Market / Margin Activator form, we will communicate with you in due time to explain the risks and assess the suitability with you. All accounts will start with Hong Kong Market only and be a Cash-only account. We foresee margin activations as soon as the 2nd week of April.
