The Frankfurt Stock Exchange (German: Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse, FWB) is the world's 10th largest stock exchange by market capitalization. Located in Frankfurt, Germany, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is owned and operated by Deutsche Börse , which also owns the European futures exchange Eurex and the clearing company Clearstream. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange accounts for over 90 percent of the turnover in the German market and a very large share of the European market.  

Trading sessions are held daily from Mondays to Fridays between 9.00am – 5.30pm. In addition, there is an opening auction (8.50am – 9.00am) and closing auction (5.30pm – 5.35pm).

*Auctions have a random end and lasts maxiaml 30 seconds. During Eurex settlement days the call phase of the intraday auction lasts 5 minutes for DAX stocks.
